doe: I'm nearly positive you have that backwards. Assuming your pics were manipulated from "legal" stock, then this is a violation of your copyright on your manipulated works. In DA's eyes, this is art theft from your gallery. You'd be the victim.

Of course, DA has largely got jack for influence outside their own website. Also, the dates are marked for both ends, so it's a bit obvious whose work came first... And if DA were given to shutting down artists whose work was stolen...? They'd lose the support of any artist whose work was worth stealing.

(couldn't find anything in their copyright policies that indicated you'd be up $#!t creek. http://help.deviantart.com/9/ is about it, but maybe my search query is off a bit)

Now, if your work isn't of legal stock, AND someone able to contact the owner knew the provenance of these bastardized versions of your work (ie: your DA site... which you just provided) found this thread... then, yes, you could be reported for violating DA's terms. Which you would have been violating anyway. The only added risk here is increased exposure, and only your complaint actually links you to this.

If it's a real concern, I recommend removing copyrighted works from your DA gallery (what were you THINKING?) and leave posting that sort of thing to a place more accomodating. (not here. No Reals allowed.) And don't blame the above thief for your own risky behavior? (But maybe blame for using a photoshop filter to bypass the "no reals" rule of gurochan.)

As I was investigating on how much detail they put into the game, I noticed that in Smash Bros. Brawl, Peach has no waistline, as if her lower half is detached from her torso. I have in game screen shots and I'm trying to get them on to my computer. In the meanwhile, check it out if you have the game.
