Not a fatality montage. Unfortunately, looks like a clone of Soul Calibur. We may have to use our imaginiations for this one. Don't bother watching the whole thing (the game doesn't look very fun...), just load the whole thing and check out the ending. Soul Calibur style replay of final hit followed by the winner gloating. Yuck.
I hope someone proves me wrong.
Seen some vids on youtube by a guy called riotingsoul. His second EOD video shows a fight ending with the replay of the final blow and the winner gloating. No fatality. Looks like a Soul Calibur clone.

That monster's fatality is a masterpiece in Samurai Showdown -ZERO-(special edition). I have still been playing its imperfect free pc vision. The perfect full vision now is very difficult to find. Although it's the only guy whose fatality is not showed in full ( Considering the another character's fatality is pulling girl's heart out and then squishing the heart before drinking & eatting what dripping from hand), it seems actually a clever way for 'eating a person alive', all you can hear is crying, screaming & shouting before the monster spitting out the last thing left in its mouth-- either male's skull or or females' head accessories stuff( I thought that was female character's underwears at the first time seeing that). SO, perhaps like what is said in the monster's story, it especially like eats females and kids, and always eat an entire female.
The imperfect pc vison is downloadable in japan and other asian countries. I can share the download links & links for possible the perfect vision if anyone ask.
I wish he spat out the females' skulls, too. :(

How'd you get the rom to work? I've tried a number of versions of SS5/Zero, on MAME and NEORage, with and without NEOGEO BIOS, with no luck. The most recent Samurai Spirits game I've managed to get working was 4, and that one turned out to be a censored version (no finishing moves on females) so it kind of defeated the whole point to the game.

The ROM runs dandy on WinKawaks.
Oh, and I should specify, I'm using "Samurai Shodown V Special," which I believe is the American version of SS Zero, and contains varying levels of gore depending on the region and arcade/console settings on the emulator. When everything's set up just so, you get all the lovely fatalities, Gedo's eating included, as well as all the non-special finishers like getting split down the middle and such.
