Totally agree Daredevil, the neck breakers are too overrated, the body twist and Shang Shung's soul steal followed by a backbreaking stomp are definitely kick ass.
Definitely is funny, seeing how Wondie had her ass kicked hard by a guy with a similar name. That neck snap definitely fits Sonya although there could have been other non cliches to finish her off. Still good though.

I don't suppose anyone knows if this game has any arena fatalities? Like lava pits or spiked floors or something.
Nope, ringout leads to freefall kombat where they hit each other in the air, but no arena fatalities. Only non-gory, cheesy, boring fatalities. Some of the fatalities are kind of cool, but over-all they aren't very interesting. Best gameplay out of all the other Mortal Kombat's in the series though.
