True, also, why don't they think of Africa? In fact what I was suprised to find out was in southern Japan, there are blacks (native) who live over there. Mischiefmaker, you're awesome. Any idea what the deal is with finishing moves in the SS series? I've got them all up to IV, and for some reason the girls refuse to die. Guys, no problem, all of their death sequences are intact. But no matter what I do, I can't seem to dismember Nakoruru, Charlotte, or anyone else that counts. Were certain (arcade and Neo-Geo) versions censored?
Do the girls make it hard to perform a fatality on them? Did you try two player mode where you play (first player) as the male character and the female character is Shiki, Charlotte, Mina, or Nakoruru and (second player) female character gets finished off with some finishing move that you choose and she is torn to pieces. Just a test to see if the American version wanted to be a dick you know how some cocksuckers are these days (inappropriate to use such violence on women, men can only suffer such brutality. Get the fucking shotguns and murder those fuckers in the censoring business.). Other than that I doubt arcade and Neo-Geo was censored because the last, last time I remember playing the very first Samurai Showdown in the arcade back in 2000 or 2001 I was using Jubei and I did some trick on Charlotte and she separated into 4 pieces and SS5 I was using Haohmaru and I gave the most hated bitch in the SS series and CVS2 a nasty slash and man I'm telling you one part or her went one way and the other part of her went another and faded as it bounced and that was it. Maybe they just give you a hard time to finish off in a way that you want to morosenoodle. Then again maybe some arcade and Neo-Geo versions were censored but I bet if you buy a home system I guarantee you a 0% chance that there wont be any censoring unless you screw around with the options menu and remove blood and guts etc. on top of that it depends but try a home system version and test it that's as far as I can throw it, peace out.
I meant if you buy a home system 'version' of the Samurai Showdown game for PS2 for example.
Yeah, I've tried it a bunch of times. I've got I-IV, both on MAME and NeoRage- every time (2 player, 1 player, whatever) they fail to seperate. The first one, finishing moves sometimes work, but other than that? Nothing.
Must be censored then. Anybody know where one can find the Japanese versions of the games? Preferably the later ones, like V and VI?
I wish I knew but it sucks that the censors have to fuck up our fun. At least they didn't do the same to the Mortal Kombat games.

But I believe there is some program you need in order to record the video as you play and then load the file to the youtube. The last set Mischiefmaker has uploaded is from "Strain and Relax", one of many doujinshi drawn by Yuri Ai, who's actually relatively tame when it comes to violence and rarely crossess into the realm of full on guro.
