Acrotomophilia Question (24)

Amputee fetishists, Wikipedia has this to say about us:
"In a survey of acrotomophiles, leg amputations were preferred over arm amputations; amputations of a single limb, over double amputations; and amputations that left a stump, over amputations that left no stump."
What is your opinion on this?
Personally, I prefer arm amputations and double amputations.

While I would not describe myself as an acrotomophile as Im not particularly sexually drawn to people with amputations in my everyday life, in pink-fluffy-fantasy land Id personally prefer leg ampuations, double usually. For real life life purposes though I can understand people prefering leg amputations and single limb amputations as it leaves the amputee with a relatively large amount of self reliance.

I'd like to have a few girls with leg amps and quads with preferably no stumps or well-covered upper arms. No cut bones though. In reality, I'd first have to get rich and have a harem of maids before populating my mansion with these amps.

My opinion is that the majority who took that survey are the more sensible and realistic sort of acrotomphiliacs. A leg is less important and easier to replace than an arm and the complex agility of the fingers and hand; a single limb is not such a limit on freedom; and stumps are hot.

I'd guess that apotemnophiliacs are more likely to favour double and quad amputations, having an intense desire to free themselves from responsibility and to surrender themselves another completely.

I've said it before, I'm a borderline apotemnophiliac in that I do desire the amputation of a limb (two to be exact: left leg above the knee, right arm above the elbow) but I can live without it. I'm not alone in this disposition, I know that.

I'm a typical acromotophile, then, because I like single ATKs best. And stumps are just hot, no matter which limb they are.

I'm an acrotomophile. I like the idea of someone with only their fingers removed. It would leave them enough dexterity to grab some things with their palm, and would stimulate the fetish. Both legs and one arm would be interesting as well.

Leg amputations, and specifically the prosthetic limbs are hot, but not the plastic cheap ones, the cool sports ones.

Personally, i like almost everything in any combination, from finger amputations to triple, as long as there's a stump. But what >>4 said is very appropriated. Also, i don't like for example quadruple amputations with no stumps, simply because it's too much... Handicapped. Someone in such a condition is totally dependant on others for most things, and that makes me think more of a dog that needs to be fed than an human being.

For me its amputations of all 4 limps with cat ears sewn on.. but that's just me.

I don't get one thing. What's the usual motive behind this fetish? Is it the fact that someone will take care of you later? Giving yourself in to them or something?

It's a two-sided fetish. The one who would like to be mutilated would probably like to be helpless, used and taken care of.

There are probably people who want an amp to take care of him or her, but I'm the one that gets off to playing around with helpless victims... ;P

As I said, in the case of desiring to be/care for a quad or triple this is more often true but not of all amputee fetishists.

The attraction to someone missing, say, an arm is the implied life experience and aesthetics.

Given people fantasizing about this know the consequences implied, SM tendencies. Like with many fetishes, actually.

I like below-the-knee amputations, preferably double.

I agree.

  1. I hate feet, and those sprinting prosthetic are as far as one can get from what I view as an abomination (no offense if you swing that way).
  2. Forced amputation can be rather painful, and so meets my schadenfreude quota.
  3. I find the idea of someone overcoming adversity to be attractive.

Prosthetics are cool, but the cheap plastic ones are just awful. The sprinting ones are awesome though.

I prefer double arm amputations. Leaving a bit of stump ending just before the elbow

17 Name: Anonymous : 2009-11-07 17:00 [Del]

I wouldn't mind losing my Left leg from below the knee, although its not something I would actively seek out.
I don't think my wish for losing a leg is anything sexual, maybe a little, but more of an visual representation of my handicaps, because I have MS. Prosthetics can also be fucking awesome.

Exactly. I wish that I could have a missing limb to represent my "invisible disability" too. I'd never seek it out, though.

I don't particularly have this fetish, but I hate arms. They really mar the human form.

True. Let's rewrite the human genome and type using our feet.

I prefer arm amputations, just below the shoulder; sometimes I like to cut her feet off.

Quad-amps ftw.
