Are there any translators out there who will translate guro for money? I get a real bad reaction whenever I contact typical fansubbers about translating guro. "Oh, I can't keep my eyes open when I see that guy's stuff!"
I'm getting nowhere. I'll pay $5 per page for someone to translate Woman Soldier Random Nude 2, but nobody wants my money. Are there any mercenary translators out there?
I'd say "$5 per page? Thats a fuck-load of money" but I don't wanna ruin it for any willing translators out there by giving you the idea to decrease the sum.

Instead of showing them the whole page, you could cut out the text bubbles, have them translate those, then paste them in later. That way, they only see the text, and not the guro.

holy moly...5$ for one page? if this manga has the usual amount of 200 pages this make a total of 1000$...1000$ for a guro-scanlation???..damn, this manga must have big value for you
I've spent an insane amount of time over the years trying to translate this, so it's worth it to save my time. At work ,I bill the internal customers $115/hr. I already spent about $50 just for the Kanji dictionary, which still didn't solve the main problem, which is translation of the hiragana and katakana.
That system of text bubbles and no pictures on a Word document is something I proposed to Sayo, but I haven't got an answer yet. This is only 40 pages, but there is way more text than a typical doujin.
On the plus side, I learned some kanji for a few words, like death, torture, genitals, ovaries, blood, electrode and anus.
