For a long time /g/ has had one or two threads for male guro if any at all, but it seems like recently the whole front page is male guro and I believe that with the growing interest in male guro it may deserve it's own trial board.
I myself being female have no problems with male guro on /g/ I just feel like it would be easier to navigate if there was a separate board for each.

Maybe the spam of male guro is because people don't care to contribute and bump female threads with a couple of new pics?

As a masochistic gay male I fap almost exclusively to male guro, so I would actually like a male board because it would make it easier to find what I like without having to scroll past dozens of female threads. Just thought I'd bring it up since most replies here seem only to be considering this from the persceptive of seperating it so people who DON'T like it can avoid it.
But even though I've seen more male threads lately, I'm not sure there's enough male guro posted to really warrant a seperate board. And since none of the other boards have seperate gender categories, I think creating subcategories for the three main boards would probably end up making things too complicated. I kind of like how simple it is now...

Rules are very vague for /g/, and don't even mention death as a necessity.
Ignoring threads that aren't appealing to you, or, even better, contributing material that you personally think would fit in them will solve the problem and make everyone happy.

A good idea, if plausible for the admin to do, would be to upgrade the boards to act like 7chan's with things like 'hide thread/watch thread/quick reply.' Stuff like that is hardly necessary however, because anyone bitching about male guro is probably underage b& anyway.

To be honest, in any of the male threads there's always some annoying retard complaining about male in his /g/, baww baww bawwww. Face it, most people looking for male guro don't have as much selection as anyone looking for female guro. I have to continuously wade through the sea of shit art, Jissou, and lolis to find what I'm looking for, and I'm sure other people agree with me. Anyone who tries to post up a male vore thread, or male monster thread, or male whatever thread that isn't extremely broad ends up getting shot down pretty quickly. There simply isn't enough support because anyone with content usually can't find the threads, since they're dead within a day, and everyone else is glad to see it off the front page...I think content would grow if there was a male /g/ board, those who only like females in their guro would be pleased, and everyone would be happy. It would just make things much easier.

This is, of course, a gross exaggeration. A single unbumped thread lasts about 20 days on /g/. That's more than enough time for content, if it exists to be posted. It's hardly difficult to browse through several pages either.

If the influx of newcomers is great enough, they will change things. Their age doesn't matter. Some people are annoyed with the abundant "male thread's", and that might be because 2 years ago there weren't any at all. Now theres several on the front page every day, and I would say this is a significant change indeed, if you're disturbed by that. There weren't any "game thread's", "dark thread's" or other /b/-esque threads either. It was just porn and grotesque art.
Another good, if not overused, example would be 4chan. Once an imageboard for Japanese culture and media in general. Now its "lol anonymoos is legiun" and "EPIC XD". /b/-tards even shun anime, which was the original motivation for making the site. Don't tell me it would have turned out the same way if just a couple of hundred people were visiting it.
Just to sum things up; I used to go here to fap and look at abstract art, not to have fun and socialize. There are other places for that.
