So, I've been interested in your 'guro music'. What kind of music do you listen to when browsing these halls of stitch and bone? (particular songs if possible)

2 Name: Anonymous : 2009-09-12 16:02 [Del]

As OP I should start.
Muse (older stuff), Krieg, Anorexia Nervosa (Redemption process album), Tomasso Albinoni, Elyisian Blaze (mostly Anvil Chorus and Prophecy of Misery).
Now it's your turn. We'll stay a while and listen!

Anything by Najee or Dave Koz is pretty good. Also, Mozart's "Requiem", or Cypress Hill's cd "Los Grandes Éxitos en Español". All very very good msuci to listen to whilst browsing images of beautiful art.

I like some music with "violent" lyrics, but nothing specific to guro...

Umm... Say Anything has a song about killing little girls, and Cauterize has a song about a dood who gets off on killing his girlfriend...and neither of those are death metal bands! XD;;

"Something's coming over me
Doesn't want you to breathe
Stand over you and watch you bleed
I'll be the last thing you see
Go ahead; I dare you to scream
No one can hear but me
Pleading won't get you anywhere
I decided not to care."

Silverstein has a few with violent lyrics...a couple about stalkers...meh, I could go on...

I only shared my opinion. So stop being a dick and keep your nasty comments to yourself.

No seriously, I don't listen to music while i fap.

Rob Zombie is nice (not because it's guro-related, but because I like the music.) Maximum the Hormone (Japanese band) is nice too, for the same reason. But, like >>19, I don't listen to music while "enjoying" porn.

I'm curious, though; what does >>14 consider "real" music? Cannibal Corpse? Emperor? Gwar? The Sex Pistols? Please don't say Slipknot...

>I'm curious, though; what does >>14 consider "real" music?

Music that's not Trying Too Hard. The lyrics quoted in >>13 obviously fail this important test.

Usually whatever comes on my playlist; I have it on random.

Mostly Morbid Angel, Death, Cannibal Corpse and a tonne of OST.

Beethoven, Stravinskij, Čajkovskij, Chopin, Liszt, Mozart, Dvořák, Smetana, Strauss, Vivaldi, Albinoni etc.
Classical music is great with guro.

31 Name: Ooishi : 2009-11-14 09:00 [Del]

Probably should kick an old horse, but what ever.

There's a lack of Pig Destroyer here, which surprises me. Jenifer is certainly up Gurochan's alley.

Genitorturers, Skinny Puppy, Acid Bath, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, A Perfect Circle....

33 Name: Anonymous : 2009-11-16 09:19 [Del]

I like album (noitumaa) made by Ajattara, finnish death metal band.
It's acoustic. Death metal style of "singing" combined with acoustic instruments gives it a very raw and primal feeling.
My personal favourite is " Mitä kuolema parantaa?"

I'm a classical fan (though not particularly fond of the more mainstream pieces), but I've honestly never listened to music while browsing Gurochan... or browsing at all for that matter. I never even listen to it on my computer unless I'm organizing it or the like, usually just when I'm out.

38 Name: Anonymous : 2009-11-22 15:21 [Del]

Good black metal/black ambient are quite the obvious choices (at least for the fans of the genres).

Windir, Xasthur, Coldworld, Darkspace, Elysian Blaze, Vinterriket.. to say the least.

46 Name: Anonymous : 2009-11-26 23:21 [Del]

I listen to metal but I never listen to music while browsing. The most guroish music I've listened? Idk, boondox? Also yeah, Silent Hill music is pretty creepy, and just awesome in general.

47 Name: Xelrog T. Apocalypse : 2009-11-27 01:24 [Del]

I don't like heavy metal but I have some of it lying around. The most violent song I've heard of the top of my head is probably Suicide Commando's Die Motherfucker Die. Such a generic choice.

Gore and guro aren't the same thing, though, so there really isn't any universal "guro" music. I think a sort of light, ambient string theme might be sort of erotic during scat play. But maybe I'm just thinking of hentai.

48 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-02 16:45 [Del]

Dark Ambient.

Artists like Lustmord, Yen Pox, Sophia.

Angelspit. Seriously, look them up.

52 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-06 23:12 [Del]

REALLY? Nobody posted this?

Cannibal Corpse - I Cum Blood
About the most guro song out there, seriously.

It's also so over-the-top that it's almost as funny as watching a GWAR concert where the audience is doused with blood and guts.

But then, that can be said of a lot of extreme guro, the only difference being that I fap, not laugh.

53 Name: Xelrog T. Apocalypse : 2009-12-07 00:08 [Del]

Gore, maybe. Again, guro isn't limited to gore.

54 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-07 00:08 [Del]

Slayer and Every Time I Die.

55 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-11 00:04 [Del]

I listen classic composers. Hungarian, german, russian. That kind of stuff.

56 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-11 00:07 [Del]

Classical music.

57 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-12 15:58 [Del]

Classical, Black Metal and Death Metal, usually.

58 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-14 13:46 [Del]

I have a particular love of classical music, especially Chopin's Funeral March. I also like Requiem Mass in D minor.

But, if I'm in a foul mood while browsing through gurochan, I go for Cannibal Corpse. Stripped, Raped, and Strangled is my favorite, but Orgasm Through Torture, Discipline of Revenge, and Make Them Suffer are also really good.

59 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-14 14:09 [Del]

Church music?

Oingo Boingo's 'Insanity', Bach's 'Prelude and Fugue No 2 in C minor', 'Lilium' from Elfen Lied (Moka version usually), and almost anything by Rammstein.

62 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-15 17:13 [Del]

>>61

After heard Ich Tu Dir Weh by Rammstein, I started to listen to them while visiting this site; now the two are inextricably linked in my head.

63 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-15 19:52 [Del]

Breakcore and IDM, especially Venetian Snares. His latest album includes tracks with titles like Chainsaw Fellatio and Pussy Skull. Actually, he's done quite a few albums involving a variety of sexual perversions.

Also classical music, though it's been mentioned.

Death metal is just grating on the ears.

64 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-16 15:44 [Del]

>>63
Surprised you don't like DM seeing as you like VSnares. They're not similar in the common sense, but they share the same qualities of musical structure.

65 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-16 19:28 [Del]

Chopin, mainly. Occasionally Debussy and Wagner as well.

66 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-16 20:36 [Del]

Man, us classical music geeks are really twisted people, aren't we? I'm sure Chopin and the others would be rolling in their graves if they knew what we associated their music with.

67 Name: Anonymous : 2009-12-17 04:26 [Del]
