Gurocon? ; ) (17)

So has anybody here ever figured about putting together a Guro convention? What would something like that be like? Out of all attending conventioners, how many would be undercover police? How many folks would end up dead? Would the hooker population of whatever city it was held in drop mysteriously? Would Waita Uziga be a guest of honour, or would he know better than to be the center of attention amongst a large group of closet psychos?

Hundreds of people would be carrying enema kits, with no clear explaination why.

a guro con would be great, though i could never see it happening XD

it's hard enough to get an anime con within in distance, much less something like this.

good luck getting people to show up. even if there were interested parties <and i'd bet there would be> it would be very hard to get them all together at the same time.

I couldn't see a convention with just guro but I could see a guro section within a general horror/macabre convention.

I don't know, I still believe that the majority of guro fans are nice and harmless in real life. I already love to talk to fellow guro fans here, via MSN or email and I would definitely enjoy meeting some of them in person.

But regarding Animagic I have to once again state my paranoia against trying to do anything guro-related in a censorship-happy country like Germany.

naa germany isnt that censorship-happy. you can still get everything you want. its just this good-looking outward appearance.

> naa germany isnt that censorship-happy.

I am a German and I can say that this is bullshit.

A good informational source for forbidden / outlawed media stuff in Germany is this website: http://www.bpjm.com/

yeah, you just need to know WHERE to get the stuff
i am also german and i still get everything i want without any problems, you just need to take look

Ahem
Dunno how into this idea everyone is but...

Thoughts?

Also, I agree with >>12, perhaps a guro contingent within a more specialised convention would be nice.

I'd love to discuss such things in person, expand my knowledge, have fun, et cetera...
