http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guro
Should someone link GUROchan there? After all this is one of the few only free communities for that topic in English out there.
Initally I thought no, because I didn't really want /b/tards coming in here and spamming. But then if someone does actually like guro(which is why they're looking it up) they might love to find an imageboard like this. Whats more, what if they have lots of pictures to contribute?
um, toshio maeda is not a guro artist
That's also not at all what "ero-guro"(/"ero-guro-nansensu") means.

Actually, I have seen "ero-guro" used that way in Japanese.
I wonder whether Futaba is trying to bring back the era of ero-guro-nansensu.
It would be really great if someone who knew what he/she was talking about would go in and edit that article to be more informative e.g., explaining the appeal of guro, listing some major artists (Maruo, Uziga, &c.), detailing the origins of guro art, at least mentioning its internet presence (gurochan, suitcasegirl, &c.), and maybe a brief section on the controversy inherent to the subject matter. If anything, it would at least give us something to point to when some n00b asks for the millionth time what the appeal of bloody dismemberment porn is.
Please do not remove the link. Its how I found this site ^_^
does anyone know in more detail how the term ero-guro evolved from its origins in the twenties & thirties (ero-guro-nansensu) to describing an obscure type of pornography? that article really needs some improving (especially since eroguro still has several meanings besides what we come here for)
